School Community Events

LET’S PLAY! AL PTO sponsors and runs engaging school community events focused on student interconnectedness and family fun.

Playground Mixers

Each year, we hold a Playground Mixer at the Cherry and Oak Campus Playgrounds. Kids get to play after school, while parents make new friends or catch up. AL PTO provides snacks, drinks, and the opportunity to get to know other families from the school.

VIP Dances

Be your student’s VIP at the best dance party in town! With a new theme each spring, the VIP Dances are a blast with groovin’ moves, raffle prizes to win, snacks to be enjoyed, and bonding moments with your kid.

‘Boo’ Bayou

This annual tradition is a great way to kick off the Fall season and announce the $10k Raffle drawing winner! Boo Bayou brings together families from all three campuses — a celebration of school community, complete with snacks, fun, and games.

Field Day

We end each school year with a great Field Day at each campus. The day is filled with various events from outdoor water games to indoor dodgeball and kickball. These events are organized by AL PTO volunteers and it is a favorite of everyone!
